What did I learn:
In this module, I learned a lot about File Sharing and other Web 2.0 applications that I never knew existed. Certain ones like Kizoa and Voki I never knew were tools that you could use so easily on the web. Something like Voki was pretty fun to use. Also, on the topic of File Sharing and Imaging, something like WebResizer was a great and useful tool that I've actually used again since the first assignment that we used it in.

Here's a link to a page that has a few different methods of how you can re-size your digital images with something other than WebResizer and a step by step process for each method.
In this particular module, I believe that I put in good effort for this module. Of course, that's not to say that you don't always have room to improve.
Terms:
1.)Optimization: An act, process, or methodology of making something as fully perfect, functional, or effective as possible.
2.)FTP (File Transfer Protocol): It's the standard network protocol used to transfer files from one host to another.
3.)Shareware: Software that is available free of charge that is used primarily as a way to see if you enjoy the software and some things in the software are only available to paying customers.
4.)Raster Image: An image that is represented by a rectangular grid of pixels.

Specifically, when it comes to this Module, I feel like I didn't learn as much as I did in the other modules, but one thing that stands out the most to me as being something that I learned in this module is how to Glog. I never even knew that glogging was actually something that you could do but it was actually kind of fun to use the tool. One thing that I really liked about this module was the discussion on the facebook group about communication. I learned about what everyone else in the class prefers more in terms of communication as well as what most people today would rather do in terms of communication.
With this particular module, I believe that I put more effort into this one than I have in the past modules which I'm a lot more proud of. That being said, I still have room to improve on things like how I take my quizzes. Quizzes are something that I've never been really good at but I haven't been studying as well as I could be. That is something that I'm really hoping to change come the next module.
Four terms learned in the module:
Glog: The word used to describe a publicly accessible graphical blog. It's an interactive multimedia image that looks similar to a poster. The difference between a blog and a glog is that the reader is able to interact with the content on the glog.
Netiquette: The correct or publicly acceptable way of communicating on the internet.
Asynchronous Communication: The transmission of data where data can be transmitted intermittently rather than in a steady stream.
Synchronous Communication: The coordination of events to operate a system in unison.

In learning module three, I learned about information fluency on the web, skills that we as individuals utilizing the internet in the twenty-first century should posses, and how to keep your internet reputation clean and clear when using the internet. When it comes to information fluency on the internet, the internet is loaded with tons of information at your disposal. The problem with that is, the only way to access it is to know exactly how to get to it. For most people, this can be challenging if you're trying to find information on something for work or for academic purposes. But for others that know their way around the internet better than most people, it can be a treasure trove of informational opportunities. This is where information fluency comes in. Because of this, it makes it simpler for an individual to access this information in a timely manner. As the United States National Forum on Information Literacy states it; the ability to know when there is a need for information, to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information for the issue or problem at hand. Lucky for us, the internet does a great job at making this a lot easier. But to able to effectively use information fluency to your advantage, having a number of skills that you can utilize here in the twenty-first century can do you many wonders. These skills involve things like finding the best methods to learn in the classroom, being able to utilize this centuries technology to your advantage, and simply having a grasp of the changes that are taking place around you. These skills can help you in life, in what career you aspire to work in, in how you perceive the media and what sources to trust, and the skills required from a technological standpoint as the world advances farther and farther with technology that we all need to learn and get used to to be successful in life. Aside from that, all of this would mean nothing if you don't utilize the internet wisely. Keeping up with a positive reputation on the internet is important too. Making sure that you treat everybody with respect face to face is one thing, but it goes both ways on the internet too. It may be even more risky on the internet since conversations, videos, and pictures stay on the internet once they're posted. Even if you take them down, somebody out there may still have access to them and can use them against you. When it comes to the internet, it's best to keep a clean reputation because it can effect your future in a possible career opportunity or can even get you in trouble with the law.
Now, as for my participation in this module. I would have to say that it is the first one that I put the most effort into. It took me awhile to get used to these online classes, but now I think that I finally have gotten the hang of it and am on top of my work now. The only thing that I can think of to improve is doing my assignments a little earlier than on the day that they are due. That would help free up some time to work on other things and to also have extra down time without stressing about work that I need to get done.
Four Key Terms:
Information Fluency: The ability to know when there is a need for information, to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information for the issue or the problem at hand.
Digital Citizenship: How a person should act while using digital technology.
Net Neutrality: The principle that internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites.
Boolean Search: A type of search allowing users to combine keywords with operators such as the words and, not, and or to further produce more relevant results.

Final Blog!
1. In general, what did you like most about this class?
A. The independence of not having a teacher breathing down your neck all while trying to complete a project. Being able to just have them tell you what you need to do and when to have it done is great.
2. In general, what did you like least about this class?
A. Let me think about this for a minute...THE BLOGS!!!
3. What were your most favorite project and least favorite project and why?
A. Favorite: Toss between the two parts of mine and Graham's Untold series and the Slenderman Documentary mainly because everything that me and Graham have worked on this year together has been amazing.
Least: Color Project...need I say why?
4. Do you feel that this class will help you achieve your future academic or career goals? How or why (or why not)?
A. Yes because now I have a better understanding of computer programs and video editing and animating.
5. Additional comments:
A. Mainly, I'm just gonna miss everyone that I've been in the same room with for two years.

Disney Withdraws Attempt To Trademark The Name Of A Holiday!
Learned:
1.) That Disney had tried to do something else really stupid (but really, where's the surprise in that).
2.) Disney wouldn't have had ownership of the holiday, just the movie title.
3.) That the U.S. law doesn't actually provide copyright protection for titles.
Opinions:
1.) I really don't have much else to say after the last article. If you want my opinion on how much of a screw up Disney is, you'll have to refer back to that particular response. Mainly because I'm too lazy to copy and paste it myself.
2.) ...
Question:
What other dumb things are you gonna try and do Disney? I guess will just have to wait and find out.
