Three things I learned that I didn't know before:
1.) All the tips that were given out.
2.) How difficult it is to actually get a job in this field.
3.) It's hard to actually want to do something like this if you don't already love movies.
Two opinions I had about the article:
1.) What I liked about the article is the in depth tips he did give to be successful in movie making.
2.) What I didn't like about the article is just how boring it was to me. I didn't really get interested in this particular article and I was glad when I had finished reading it.
One question about the article:
1.) Isn't there more steps to filmmaking?

First Article: Finding Nemo 3D and Why 3D Filmmaking is Not the Future!
Three things I learned that I didn't know before:
1.) 3D isn't making the profit necessary to keep making more remakes in 3D because people don't want to pay more to see a movie that they've already seen.
2.) 3D isn't doing as well as the film industries have thought they would. It seems as though 3D remakes are slowly starting to fade away because people just don't see the need to watch a movie in 3D.
3.) The fact that 3D isn't doing nearly as well as I thought I was. I personally think that 3D is a stupid idea but I figured that there would be a lot more people that actually liked 3D, but apparently I'm not the only one who feels that remaking movies in 3D is a waste of time.
Two opinions about the article:
1.) What I liked about the article was that it was very informative about how remaking a movie into 3D can have negative effects on the movie and make it more dull and boring just so that you can see stuff pop out at you.
2.) What I disliked about the article is not really anything. I felt like it matched my feelings towards what I think of 3D very well.
One question about the article:
1.) How many more 3D movies are they going to make before they realize that it's not doing them any good?

Week #2
What did I learn this week: Well, other than the fact that I can't remember what the heck we did this week in terms of learning new things, I learned how to make a very terrifying dog cat thingy using Photoshop. It's pretty scary looking.
What I want to learn in the future: I personally dislike this question because I can never think of anything to put down for it.
Something that frustrated me this week: Not knowing what 7/8 was as a fraction. Sad I know, but I'm horrible with fractions any ways.
Something that made me happy this week: Well, for one thing, it's Friday and who couldn't be happy on a Friday? And also, the replacement reffs for the NFL are no longer reffing the game because we've got the official reffs back and that for sure makes me happy.

A really funny video on how not to be scared of the game SLENDER! It's actually quite a terrifying game and it's a free download if you want to play it.

Second Article: Expressive Robot
Three things I learned that I didn't know before:
1.) That it was possible to do something like that with a robot.
2.) That it almost seems like it has a mind of it's own. That's kind of creepy.
3.) That the robot knows exactly how to make those movements in the first place.
Two opinions about the article:
1.) I like the idea here with a robot that can interact with humans and be of use to us.
2.) What I don't like is the fact that it almost seems to have a mind of it's own. I never really liked robots just for that reason because eventually, we will want to make a robot that can do everything on it's own and it is possible for it to turn on us. That's kind of scary.
One question about the article:
How much of a use will this be to us?

First Article: 3D Printer
3 things I learned that I didn't know before:
1.) First of all, I had no idea that you could do something this advanced for so long. 25 years!? Really!? I'm just finding this out now. Very cool stuff!
2.) Learning that it might even be possible to print out something like a human organ is also very interesting. For them to be able to find out that they can do that is extremely helpful. It shows that the 3D Printer can also be used for not just fun and games but very serious stuff that can save someones life.
3.) Also, to know that it's going to be possible to have one of these things in your own home is freaking sweet! From the sounds of what you can do with this thing, I wonder if it's possible to print out Pokemon Cards (yes, I still collect those).
2 opinions about the article:
1.) Well, first of all, I really like the idea that you can do this kind of thing with the technology that we have and also that this 3D Printer happens to be so cheep. Which means that it could be possible for everyone to have one.
2.) One thing that I agree with completely with the article is that if this does get released to the public, people could start finding out how to make certain things with it that wouldn't exactly be in the best interest of everyone else, such as weapons or explosives. That would not be good!
One question about the article:
When is this thing getting released to the public?

The Second Week Is Over!
What I learned this week: This week, we learned about colors mostly and worked on a few assignments and a lot had to be turned in this week. It was definitely busy.
What I want to learn in the future: As of right now, I really don't know what I want to learn in the future. That will probably change as time goes on.
Something that frustrated me this week: This is going to sound really stupid, but I forgot how to change it so that I could actually apply color to the pictures in photoshop. When I finally did figure it out, I felt really dumb :P
Something that made me happy this week: Friday! Friday makes everyone happy because school is done for two days and you don't have to work.

Really funny animation of two stick figures fighting. Strange ending though.
