First Article: Motion Capture Filmmaking: Are Computer Generated Actors the Future of Hollywood?

Three things I learned:
1.) That people are wanting more computer generated characters in movies and they are actually showing up more.

2.) The use of computers and technology can make generating creatures and the like easier and allow directors of movies to use less makeup on actors and even less actors.

3.) That Mickey Mouse won the first ever non-human Oscar.

Two opinions I had:
1.) I like how the article describes the benefits of computer generated characters in movies.

2.) The use of less actors however may not be something that a lot of aspiring actors want to hear and may give them less of a chance of making it big.

Question:
1.) If computer generated characters are more likely to be used so that one actor can play three different characters or more in a film, what does that mean for actors in general if less will be needed.
