Second Article: Pixar's Senior Scientist Derose Explains How Math Makes Movies And Games!

Three things I learned:
1.) That there is math in movies. I knew there was in games, but not in movies, at least not much.

2.) That all the physics for certain things like fire or cloth all have their own mathematics behind them.

3.) That something as simple as making hair look realistic has so many complex equations behind it.

Two opinions:
1.) I never liked math so animating would probably be hard for me. Especially something this complex.

2.) I knew that all the things I see in movies and games would be hard to create but not that difficult.

Question:
How long does it generally take for a single animator to animate one minute of a movie or to create the final look of a character.
