How Pixar Used Moore's Law To Predict The Future.

Three things I learned:
1.) What Moore's Law even is.

2.) That Pixar used Moore's Law to allegedly predict the future.

3.) That Pixar used it to predict the creation of Toy Story.

Two opinions:
1.) This confused the heck out of me.

2.) I second my first statement.

Question:
Why do we need to go to the intervening steps just to think about how we're going to get to the higher steps.
